Learning Love: Letting Love In

A 3-day retreat exploring the hidden barriers that keep us from love, connection and self-worth

Healesville, VIC | 16-19 2026

Why do we struggle in love - even when we want it so deeply?

We all long for love — to feel safe, seen, and connected.

But often, we find ourselves holding it at a distance.

Even when love is present, something inside may quietly say:
“I’m not enough.”
“I don’t deserve this.”
“It’s safer to stay hidden.”

This 3-day retreat is a gentle yet powerful invitation to explore what gets in the way of letting love in — especially the subtle, often unspoken sense of deficiency and unworthiness that so many of us carry.

Rooted in the Learning Love work of Amana and Krishnananda Trobe MD, this retreat offers a safe and supportive space to:

  • Identify the protective patterns that block closeness and intimacy

  • Explore the wound of shame and how it quietly shapes your relationship with your self and others

  • Reconnect with the deeper essential self that exists beneath shame, fear, and self-doubt

  • Begin to restore the inner flow of love — towards yourself and others

Through guided meditations, experiential teaching, somatic awareness, and heartfelt sharing, you’ll be invited to soften old defences, reconnect with your emotional truth, and gently return to the part of you that already knows how to love and be loved.

This retreat is open to individuals of all genders and levels of experience.

You don’t need to be “fixed” — just willing to be curious, compassionate, and open to the possibility that there is more love available to you than you’ve been taught to believe.
